ELIZABETH HART
INTEGRATIVE THERAPY
ABOUT
I am passionate about mental wellbeing. I believe that every person has the power to create positive change in their lives, regardless of their past or present struggles. My approach to therapy is rooted in the Systemic and Psychodynamic perspectives, helping my clients to better understand themselves and their relationships. With a focus on sex positivity and a strong desire to help couples build fulfilling relationships, my mission as a therapist is to provide a safe and supportive space for clients to explore the issues that are important to them.
My Story
I have had a wonderful career in the film industry as a Makeup Designer for over twenty years working for productions companies, such as the BBC, ITV, Disney, Netflix, Sky, Fox and Sony Pictures. Whist working I found I was always offering counselling to actors as well as makeup application, being referred to as the 'on set therapist'. I have always had an interest in the human mind, with a real love for attachment theory and learnt behaviours. On the suggestion of a producer I started retraining as a therapist in 2016 so I could follow my passion for psychology.
I now work in the charity sector offering relationship and individual counselling, as well as the Private sector working with couples and individuals as a integrative therapist and a private intimacy coach. I also still work within the film industry, in a different capacity as an intimacy/wellbeing coach which has been a natural progression for me and a role which I love.

In my free time I volunteer to help organisations to improve employee wellbeing and mental health, constructing frameworks for employers to use to create a more approachable environment for employees whom are suffering with mental health issues. I am also co-founder of a sexual wellness business Quim and Wick as well as a a freelance sexual positivity article writer, with a special focus on intimacy for couples with children.
