As an Intimacy Coordinator, I bring a unique blend of emotional insight, mental health expertise, and specialist knowledge of human sexuality. I believe that supporting actors goes far beyond movement choreography — intimate scenes, especially those depicting sexual content or sexual violence, require psychological awareness, trauma sensitivity, and the ability to create a secure, collaborative environment. This is where my background as a therapist makes a meaningful difference.

I am a Mental Health First Aider as well as an Integrative Psychotherapist trained in Systemic, Psychodynamic, Person-Centred, CBT, EFT, and trauma-informed approaches. This allows me to offer ongoing emotional support to cast and crew, reduce anxiety, and maintain wellbeing throughout production. I am also trained in Tantra, giving me a deep understanding of the body, energy, and breath, which can help actors feel grounded and regulated.

My extensive knowledge of sexuality and orientation — including queer relationships, GSRD, the science of sexual fantasy, chemsex, porn addiction, and compulsive sexual behaviour — enables me to support productions in shaping intimate scenes with nuance, realism, and cultural sensitivity.

With qualifications in Art Therapy and a Diploma in Child Psychology, I am also equipped to work safely and sensitively with productions involving younger performers or complex themes. I hold an enhanced DBS certificate.

What to expect when working with me:
– Detailed script breakdowns
– Choreographing intimate scenes collaboratively with actors and directors
– Establishing consent-based, transparent communication
– Supporting closed-set protocols
– Liaising with costume and makeup for modesty garments and body makeup requirements
– Providing after-care and emotional support post-filming
– On-set mental health check-ins to maintain crew wellbeing and prevent burnout

My aim is to create a safe, respectful atmosphere where actors feel protected, empowered, and able to perform at their best — and where productions benefit from a cohesive, emotionally supported team.
